California is admitted as the thirty-first state of the United States of America. In addition to being the third largest state behind Alaska and Texas, it currently boasts the title of most populous state. It is also, I’m proud to say, arguably the most unique state in the country. It’s two major cities, San Francisco and Los Angeles, are among the two most culturally-diverse cities in the world. Los Angeles bore its weird alter-ego, Hollywood, which continues to have the largest affect on popular culture today. And at one point, Arnold Schwarzenegger was the state governor.
